These are the two garden venues couples ask me about most, both in the Palmeraie, both surrounded by olive trees and roses, both relaxed in a way the palaces are not. They suit different weddings. Beldi Country Club is the larger by far, twelve hectares with several distinct zones: a rose garden, an olive grove, a pottery workshop, a souk-style spa. It takes 80 to 250 guests and the wedding operation there is well practised. Jnane Tamsna is smaller and more personal, a private estate with five gardens and 24 rooms, shaped by an owner who designed it herself. It works best at 40 to 120 and feels like a house party at the home of a friend with very good taste. Both allow outside vendors, and both are among the better value luxury options in the region. If you cannot decide, visit Jnane Tamsna first; it is the one people fall for in person rather than in photographs.
