Royal Mansour is the most ornate venue in Marrakech; Selman is the most scenic. The private riads and hand-worked interiors at Royal Mansour suit couples who want the setting to read as a living record of Moroccan craft. Selman's infinity pool, Atlas views and evening horse display suit couples who want spectacle and a looser register. Practically, Royal Mansour is in the medina and walkable to restaurants and souks, while Selman sits on the Route d'Amizmiz and needs transfers for anything in town. Royal Mansour's catering carries a Michelin star; Selman's L'Olivier is very good Mediterranean-Moroccan. Both are firmly ultra-luxury, though Selman usually comes in 10 to 15 percent lower. Formal and contained against modern and expansive, and I would let the size of your guest list settle it before taste does.
