our editorial review
Let me be straight with you from the first line. 2A Wedding is not a Marrakech house at heart. It is the destination arm of 2A Events, a French agency based in Brunstatt, near Mulhouse in Alsace, led by Axel Hamm. The parent brand produces around eighty weddings a year, most of them in eastern France, and since January 2014 the 2A Wedding side has carried French and Swiss couples abroad. Marrakech is one stop on a wider map that also includes Mauritius, Tuscany, Corsica, and Switzerland. What genuinely stands out to me is the scale and the structure behind the name. This is not a solo planner improvising a first trip. It is an established agency with real volume, a full production model, and more than a decade of carrying couples across borders. Read the honest caveats below with that firmly in mind.
Their model is full service, turnkey destination planning run from France and carried to wherever you marry. They build the whole event around you: decoration, florals, catering, DJ and entertainment, photography and film, transfers, accommodation, and the paperwork that a foreign wedding demands. They bring their own French and international teams, then knit in local suppliers on site. For Marrakech, they have recently opened a local office and, by their own account, invested in a property to use for receptions, and they work alongside partners on the ground here. That is a real commitment, and it is also newer than the parent agency itself. So my honest advice is the one I give for any project piloted from abroad. Ask plainly who stands beside you in Marrakech, how often the team flies in before your date, and who runs the day itself.
You would choose 2A Wedding if you are a French or Swiss couple, or an English speaking couple comfortable with a French led agency, who wants one team to carry the entire cross border project from home. For that couple, the volume, the structure, and a decade of destination work are real reassurances, and the recently opened Marrakech office is a sign they are investing here rather than just visiting. Now my reservations, and they are about fit, not talent. Their weddings are spread across many countries, and the bulk of the parent agency's work sits in eastern France, so I cannot point you to a deep, documented body of Marrakech weddings the way a purely local house might show. Pricing is not published either, so you will need a conversation to learn what a Marrakech wedding through them truly costs.
My read is that 2A Wedding is an established, credible French destination agency with genuine reach and a fresh, growing Marrakech footprint. Axel Hamm has built real volume, the production model is complete, and the new local office suggests this city matters to them for the long run. For a French or Swiss couple who wants a home country anchor to hold the whole project, that is a reassuring place to start. Where they are a weaker fit is verifiable local proof and transparency. Marrakech is one of several destinations, the local presence is recent, and the fees are not published. So I place them around 7.6 out of 10 overall, a strong agency judged partly from a distance, with transparency lower near 6.0 only because pricing stays private. If they sound right, book a call and ask straight who runs Marrakech on the ground, how often they travel, and what it will cost.
