our editorial review
Delight is not a wedding shop that also does events. It is an event-design house that also does weddings. Brice Jakubowicz founded it in 2011. He trained at the Lausanne Hotel School and ran events for Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, and the Dorchester Collection before opening his own studio. That pedigree shows in the client list, which includes Dior, Saint Laurent, Cartier, Tom Ford, Ferrari, Porsche, and Bentley. When a couple hires them, they get the same production team those brands use. The creative direction runs through designer Ludovic Petit and a dedicated design team. They build the decorative concept from scratch rather than pulling from a template. I have seen their Amanjena wedding, staged at the hotel Bassin with Berber carpets and Arabesque detailing, florals by Marie m Fleuriste. That space seats up to 500 guests. Delight works across Morocco and abroad, in Africa, Europe, Asia, and the United States. Their Instagram sits around 20,000 followers. This is a studio built for scale and polish, not for a small garden dinner.
Delight sells design first and logistics second, and you feel that in how they work. The team starts with a concept, then engineers the production around it: staging, lighting, floral installation, guest flow. Ludovic Petit and his designers own the visual language, so the tablescape, the entrance, and the dance floor read as one idea instead of three rented pieces. The hotel-chain background matters here. Brice and his team know how a Four Seasons banquet department thinks, which helps when they negotiate with palace venues and luxury riads on your behalf. They operate in French and English. The fee model is hybrid, meaning a planning fee plus a percentage of the production, which is standard for this tier of design work. Expect them to bring their own trusted vendors rather than shop the open market, because control is the whole point of their pitch. That is a strength if you want a finished look and a weakness if you want to hunt for your own florist. Ask early who owns the vendor contracts and how change requests are priced.
Choose Delight if your wedding is really a production. If you are inviting 150 to 500 guests, taking over a palace like Amanjena or the Four Seasons, and you want the evening to look like a brand campaign, this is the right team. The corporate work is the tell. An agency that stages launches for Dior and Ferrari knows how to run a show on a deadline with no visible seams. That discipline is rare among Marrakech planners, many of whom are wonderful but small. Their minimum budget sits at 75,000 euros, the highest of the planners I track in this group. That number is honest signaling. Delight is not trying to win the couple spending 40,000 on an intimate riad weekend. If your budget is below that line, you will get more attention and better value elsewhere. If your budget is well above it, few teams in the city can match their production muscle or their access to the top venues.
Delight is a genuine luxury production house, with a founder who learned the trade inside the best hotels in the world and a design lead who builds concepts from a blank page. The brand client list is real proof, not marketing. For a large, high-design wedding at a palace venue, they belong on your shortlist. Two honest caveats. First, the public footprint is thin for couples. The main website is often hard to reach, weddings are one strand of a broader events business, and there is no published wedding pricing, so you must inquire and get everything in writing. Second, the 75,000 euro floor makes them the wrong choice for a modest celebration. Book them for ambition and scale. If your wedding is small and personal, a boutique planner will serve you better and cost you less. Know which wedding you are actually planning before you call them.

We recommend booking Delight 12 to 18 months before your wedding date. During peak season (October to April), popular planners fill up quickly. Contact them as early as possible to check availability for your preferred dates.
