our editorial review
Let me be honest with you from the start. MC2 Mon Amour is not a Marrakech house. It is a French agency, born in Paris in 2013, that has grown into a network across France, with teams in Lyon, Bordeaux, and the Luberon. What earns my respect is the scale. In roughly ten years they have produced more than 400 weddings, with a team of around fourteen professionals and a following that shows real recognition in France. That is a serious, established operation, not a two person startup. Marrakech sits inside a long list of destinations they travel to, alongside Greece, Ibiza, Santorini, Portugal, and Thailand. So think of them as a proven French planner with genuine design and production muscle who will fly in to Morocco for you, rather than a local boutique rooted in the medina.
Their model is full service destination planning built around design. They handle the concept and artistic direction, the venue search, vendor sourcing and coordination, the decor and scenography, secular ceremonies, and coordination through to the day itself. Around 90 of their 400 weddings have been abroad, so they know how to run a celebration far from home, with logistics, guest travel, and a foreign venue at the center. Decor and styling are clearly where their heart is, and it shows in their work. My honest caveat is the one I give every fly in agency. A wedding produced in Marrakech from France leans heavily on partners on the ground, so ask them early and plainly. Who are your Marrakech suppliers? How many times will the team come out before the wedding? And who from MC2 will physically be here, in this city, on the day itself?
You would choose MC2 Mon Amour if you are a French speaking couple, or a couple comfortable working in French, who wants an established agency with a real portfolio and a decade of production behind it to carry your Marrakech wedding from the first idea to the day itself. For that couple, the scale, the design sensibility, and the reassurance of a large team are real advantages. Now my reservations, and they are about grounding, not talent. The clear majority of their 400 weddings are in France, not Morocco, so their Marrakech track record, while real, is a small slice of the whole. And they do not publish pricing, so you will need to request a quote to understand where they sit. If you want a planner who lives here, who knows every riad and palm grove supplier in person, a Marrakech based team may fit you better.
My read is that MC2 Mon Amour is a large, capable, design led French agency, a strong choice for couples who want an established name with real production depth and who are comfortable in French. The scale and the decor work are genuine strengths, and I have no doubt they can deliver a beautiful day. Where they are a softer fit is local roots. They are based in France, Marrakech is one destination among many, and their model is to fly in and build on local partners rather than to live among them. Pricing is not published, which keeps my transparency score modest. So I put them around 8.0 out of 10 overall, a proven agency judged mostly on scale and craft rather than on a deep Marrakech record, with transparency near 6.0. If they appeal to you, book a call and ask them straight about their people on the ground here.
