our editorial review
Let me start with the honest good news, because it is rarer than you would think. Monsieur Madame Wedding is one of the few names on this site that keeps a foot in Marrakech, not just a Marrakech venue guide. Caroline and Elie built this planner and designer duo in 2020 for couples marrying between France and Morocco, and they run it from two real bases, Boulogne-Billancourt near Paris and Marrakech itself. What earns my respect is that the Marrakech side is not a fly in arrangement. They keep local people on the ground here, with Hind managing projects and Taha handling technical and logistics in Morocco, and they have documented real weddings in the city, including a spectacular celebration at Tigmiza. Add a Vogue feature to that, and you have a young house that is bilingual and bicultural, half French and half rooted right here.
They work full service planning built around design, which is where their heart clearly sits. They offer three things: scenography and decoration, full organization or day of coordination, and lighter consulting on an a la carte basis. Caroline comes from private events in Paris and the South of France and brings the caring, detail obsessed side, while Elie handles scenography, design, and the technical production, drawing on years of larger events in Morocco. The bridge between France and Morocco is the real specialty here, so if your wedding needs to speak to families and traditions on both sides, this is a team built for exactly that. My caveat is about youth and scale rather than grounding. They started in 2020, so the track record is real but still young, and they do not publish a wedding count. Ask them plainly how many Marrakech weddings they have carried from first idea to the day itself.
You would choose Monsieur Madame Wedding if you are a couple, very often a French speaking couple with ties to both countries, who wants a planner that lives partly in Marrakech and can hold both cultures at once. For that couple the advantages are real: a local team you can meet for a tea in the medina, a genuine design sensibility, and a founder duo that has already produced documented weddings here. Now my reservations, and they are gentle ones. The house is young, born in 2020, so you are trusting a rising team rather than a decade long institution. French is plainly their first language, so a purely English speaking couple should confirm comfort early. And like almost everyone in this category, they publish no prices and no budget floor, so you will need to request a quote to learn where they sit. None of that is a red flag, it is simply what to check.
My view is that Monsieur Madame Wedding is one of the more grounded planners I list, which matters to me. They are not a foreign name selling Marrakech from abroad. They keep a real base and a real team in the city, they have produced documented weddings here, and a Vogue feature backs up the taste level. Where they lose points is openness and maturity rather than ability. So think of them as a promising, design driven, bilingual duo with real roots in Marrakech. If that speaks to you, book a call and ask them straight about scale and budget.
Monsieur Madame Wedding does not publish its rates here and neither do we. Ask the agency directly for a written quote covering your guest count, your venue and your dates, and ask what is included before you commit.
We recommend booking Monsieur Madame Wedding 12 to 18 months before your wedding date. During peak season (October to April), popular planners fill up quickly. Contact them as early as possible to check availability for your preferred dates.
