Wissal has spent over a decade in the Marrakech wedding industry, researching venues, working with couples, and building the independent data platform that powers WPM's rankings and reviews.
Her work at WPM focuses on radical transparency: documenting publicly available pricing, publishing honest planner fee structures where they have been disclosed, and building free tools that give couples the same market intelligence that industry insiders have. Every venue rating and planner review on this site cites the public sources behind it.
Before WPM, Wissal worked in hospitality consulting across North Africa and Southern Europe, specialising in luxury property evaluation and guest experience design. She holds a degree in International Hospitality Management and speaks English, French, and conversational Arabic.
Wissal reviews every venue in the WPM database regularly using public sources and direct enquiries, and updates ratings when new information becomes available. She also collects anonymous couple feedback to inform planner and vendor reviews.
