The main risks are heat, wind, and insects. Heat: summer temperatures reach 38–45°C — outdoor ceremonies before 6pm are uncomfortable. Spring/autumn are ideal (22–30°C). Provide shade structures, fans, and cold drinks. Wind: the Palmeraie and Agafay Desert can be windy, especially March–April. Have a Plan B indoor area or windbreaks for table settings (weighted card holders, no tall candles). Insects: mosquitoes emerge at dusk near gardens and pools — many venues spray in advance but ask your planner to confirm. Provide citronella candles or repellent wipes at tables. Rain: rare (20 days/year average) but possible November–March. Most venues have covered backup areas. Confirm the Plan B space during venue selection.
