In-house only. Amanjena requires you to use their internal catering team. This simplifies logistics but limits menu flexibility.

our editorial review
Amanjena is located in the Palmeraie, surrounded by palm trees yet only 15 minutes from Jemaa el-Fnaa. The resort was built around ancient olive trees with craftsmen from Fez creating every mosaic tile by hand. The pink walls, traditional courtyards, and the way light dances on the water at sunset create an atmosphere that leaves first-time visitors speechless. It is not just a hotel but a place of genuine magic where your guests can explore the medina by day and return to pure luxury by evening.
The pool area is the most popular choice, with guests seated on cushions around the pool and the Atlas Mountains in the background. Booking the ceremony for 5pm captures the golden light as the sun begins to set. The gardens offer a more intimate setting among olive trees and jasmine, ideal for 20 to 40 guests, especially in spring when the orange trees are blooming. For ultimate exclusivity, a private pavilion courtyard can host 15 to 25 guests in what feels like a private palace. The venue accommodates up to 80 guests for a seated dinner and 120 for cocktail style.
Amanjena is a luxury investment. A small wedding of 20 to 40 guests typically runs around 40,000 to 60,000 euros. A medium wedding of 40 to 80 guests costs 60,000 to 100,000 euros. Larger celebrations of 80 or more guests start at 100,000 euros and go up from there. The rental fee includes venue space, basic tables and chairs, and staff coordination. Flowers, music, photographer, special lighting, and decorations are extra. Catering is handled exclusively by the in-house kitchen with menus at approximately 150 to 200 euros per person. A deposit of 30 to 50 percent secures the date and is non-refundable after six months before the wedding, with full payment due 30 days prior.
Amanjena has 32 pavilions on site, so guests stay right where the celebration takes place with no need for taxis or transfers. Rooms fill up fast, so booking guest accommodations at the same time as the wedding is strongly recommended. The venue also has partnerships with nearby luxury hotels for overflow. The spa offers traditional hammam treatments perfect for stressed brides, and the kitchen team will even prepare a family recipe on request. The florist understands both European and Moroccan styles, making it ideal for multicultural celebrations.
Events run for approximately 8 hours with music stopping at 11pm sharp due to residential area regulations. The venue only works with its own kitchen team for catering, though outside wedding planners, photographers, and decorators are welcome. For entertainment, Amanjena prefers vendors from their approved list for noise control and equipment compatibility. October to April is peak season and should be booked 18 months ahead. May and September offer beautiful weather with less demand and better pricing. Wedding insurance is strongly recommended given the non-refundable deposit terms.
The service at Amanjena is exceptional and every photo looks magazine-worthy. Guests are treated like royalty, and the food is consistently outstanding. The venue is strict about its rules but transparent from the beginning about what is and is not possible. It is not the place for a wild party but rather for an elegant, refined celebration. Some international traditions may need explanation to staff, and everything must be planned well in advance. The overall experience is one of timeless beauty and meticulous attention to detail.
