our honest review
Instants Magiques has been operating in Marrakech since 2001 or 2003, depending on which page of their website you read. Either way, that makes them one of the oldest wedding planning agencies in the city. The company is run by Olivier Canal Brunet and Florence Marty, both reachable on Moroccan mobile numbers. What caught my attention is their corporate client list. Dior, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Chaumet, Nespresso, Sofitel. When luxury brands trust you with their events, it says something about your execution standards. They cover the full scope. Venue selection, catering (Moroccan, international, and kosher Beth Din), set design, entertainment from jazz to Gnaoua musicians, hair and makeup, photography, videography, and day-of coordination. The kosher catering option is rare in Marrakech and genuinely useful for couples who need it.
Instants Magiques works on a hybrid fee structure with a retainer of roughly 4,500 USD and a 10% commission. That commission model means they have a financial interest in your vendor spend, which is common in Marrakech but worth knowing upfront. They work with villas in the Palmeraie, riads in the medina, boutique hotels, palaces, and desert bivouacs. Some venues are apparently exclusive to their agency, though they do not name them publicly. The website is in French with an English version at morocco-wedding.com, though the English site had SSL issues when I last checked. They serve an international clientele. The site mentions in-house graphic designers for invitations and custom stationery, which is a nice touch if you want everything coordinated.
Longevity matters in Marrakech. Twenty-plus years means they have survived every economic cycle, every trend, every difficult vendor relationship. Olivier and Florence know the terrain. The corporate portfolio (Dior, Cartier, LV) suggests a level of professionalism and discretion that translates well to high-end weddings. The kosher catering capability opens doors for couples who struggle to find that in Morocco. The downsides are real though. Communication speed comes up in feedback. Some couples found response times slow, which creates stress when you are planning from abroad. Weather contingency planning for outdoor events has also been flagged as insufficient. And the premium pricing may require adjustments if you are working with a tight budget.

Instants Magiques charges a €4,500 retainer plus 10% of your total budget. On a €60,000 wedding, that means approximately €10,500 in planning fees. Ask how vendor commissions are handled.
We recommend booking Instants Magiques 12 to 18 months before your wedding date. During peak season (October to April), popular planners fill up quickly. Contact them as early as possible to check availability for your preferred dates.
Instants Magiques charges a 10% commission on vendor spend in addition to their retainer fee. This is common in Marrakech but means the planner earns more when you spend more on vendors. Ask for a detailed breakdown before signing.
Instants Magiques is one of the oldest players in Marrakech and they have the corporate credentials to prove their execution capability. Dior does not hire amateurs. The kosher catering option is a genuine differentiator. But the slow communication and premium pricing are recurring themes in feedback. If you have the budget and you value experience over responsiveness, they belong on your list. Call Olivier at +212 662-551-637 or Florence at +212 661-220-792. Ask to see recent wedding portfolios and get response time expectations in writing.
