our honest review
Party Maroc is three people with very different backgrounds who somehow make it work. Meryanne Loum-Martin is a former Parisian lawyer who discovered Marrakech in 1985, built her first house there in 1986, and threw her first big event in December 1989. She also owns Jnane Tamsna, a 24-bedroom boutique hotel across 5 houses, 5 pools, and 9 acres in the Palmeraie. That property has been featured in The New York Times, Architectural Digest, and Vogue. Alex Peto is British, spent 21 years as an estate agent in London before moving to Marrakech in 2014. He knows the venue landscape inside out. Maria Peto spent nearly 18 years at Ernst & Young, reaching partner level at EY São Paulo before switching to weddings. She handles all client inquiries personally. The support team includes Siham, Douaa, Majda, and Samir.
Their venue range is impressive. Palais Namaskar, Ksar Char Bagh, Beldi Country Club, Dar Sabra, Dar Yacout, the Agafay Desert, Atlas Mountains kasbahs. They have handled a 250-guest Nigerian wedding at Palais Namaskar and a 4-day Indian wedding with a Hindu ceremony. Those are logistically complex events that most Marrakech planners would struggle with. They have been featured on Green Wedding Shoes, Junebug Weddings, Rock My Wedding, and Boho Weddings. Their Google reviews sit at 5.0 stars across 58 reviews, which is an unusually clean record. The contact form offers three budget brackets: 20,000 to 50,000 EUR, 50,000 to 100,000 EUR, and 100,000+ EUR. No public pricing beyond that.
If you are planning a large, culturally specific wedding in Marrakech, Party Maroc is one of the few agencies that has proven experience with Nigerian, Indian, and multicultural celebrations at scale. The combination of a hotelier, a property expert, and a former Big Four partner means they approach weddings like a business operation, not an art project. That is reassuring for complex events. Alex speaks English, French, and Spanish. Meryanne speaks French and English. Maria adds English and Portuguese. Between the three of them and the Moroccan team, you are covered on language. One thing to know: Meryanne owns Jnane Tamsna, which they also recommend as a wedding venue. That is not necessarily a problem, Jnane Tamsna is a genuinely good property. But it is a conflict of interest worth being aware of. Ask upfront how venue recommendations are made.

Party Maroc charges a €5,500 retainer plus 5% of your total budget. On a €60,000 wedding, that means approximately €8,500 in planning fees. Ask how vendor commissions are handled.
We recommend booking Party Maroc 12 to 18 months before your wedding date. During peak season (October to April), popular planners fill up quickly. Contact them as early as possible to check availability for your preferred dates.
Party Maroc charges a 5% commission on vendor spend in addition to their retainer fee. This is common in Marrakech but means the planner earns more when you spend more on vendors. Ask for a detailed breakdown before signing.
Party Maroc is a strong pick for destination weddings that need experienced logistics management. The team's combined background in law, real estate, and corporate consulting gives them a practical edge. 58 five-star Google reviews and press features in serious wedding publications back that up. Their pricing is not public, so budget a conversation early. Expect custom quotes based on your event scope. If you want a planner who has handled 250 guests across multiple days and multiple cultures, Party Maroc has the receipts. If you want the cheapest option, this is not it.
