How We Rank Venues
WPM has reviewed data from 250+ weddings across Marrakech and visited every venue on this list in person. Rankings are based on four weighted criteria: overall quality of facilities and service (30%), pricing transparency — whether the venue publishes clear rates without hidden fees (25%), value for money relative to comparable destinations (25%), and verified couple feedback from post-wedding surveys (20%). Every venue listed here has been independently audited by the WPM editorial team, with ratings updated quarterly based on new wedding data and guest reviews. We do not accept payment from venues for placement or higher rankings. Our goal is to give couples planning a Marrakech wedding the most honest, data-driven comparison available anywhere — because we believe transparency saves money and reduces stress during what should be the most exciting time of your life.
Luxury Palaces
For couples who want the ultimate Marrakech experience, luxury palaces offer unmatched grandeur and world-class service. Royal Mansour (€45,000–65,000/night, up to 250 guests) is the city's most prestigious venue, featuring private riads within the palace complex, Michelin-starred dining from three restaurants, and impeccable round-the-clock service. La Mamounia (€35,000–48,000/night, up to 300 guests) combines art deco elegance with deep Moroccan heritage and legendary 8-hectare gardens designed by Jacques Majorelle. Amanjena (€28,000–42,000/night, up to 200 guests) offers desert-edge serenity with pavilion-style accommodation surrounding a central bassin inspired by the Menara Gardens. All three palaces include dedicated wedding coordinators, in-house premium catering, and exclusive use of ceremony and reception areas. These venues represent the top tier of Marrakech hospitality and are best suited for couples with budgets above €80,000.
Premium Venues
Premium venues deliver exceptional experiences at more accessible price points, making them the most popular category among WPM-reviewed couples. Beldi Country Club (€6,000–12,000/night, up to 150 guests) is the most-booked venue in our data — a bohemian garden paradise with flexible external catering policies, multiple ceremony locations, and charming boho-chic decor throughout. Riad El Fenn (€4,500–8,000/night, up to 60 guests) is perfect for intimate celebrations in the heart of the Medina, with rooftop terraces overlooking the Atlas Mountains and contemporary Moroccan design. Jnane Tamsna (€5,000–9,000/night, up to 100 guests) offers lush organic gardens across 9 acres, a warm family-run atmosphere, and outstanding Moroccan cuisine from their own kitchen. Premium venues typically offer more flexibility on vendor selection, decoration, and event timing than luxury palaces, which is why many planners prefer working with them.
