Private villas and estates you rent whole, most of them in the Palmeraie. More say over food and timing than a hotel gives you, and more to organise.
A villa wedding means a whole private property for the weekend: the house, the garden, the pool, and no other guests at breakfast. Most sit in the Palmeraie and the rest around the city, several on the roads towards Ouarzazate, Amizmiz and Fes, so plan transfers for everyone sleeping elsewhere. Most let you choose between their caterer and your own, which gives you real control over the menu and the budget, while some cook in-house only and a few expect your own team. Minimum stays are usually two or three nights. For a big guest list, ask whether the power supply can carry the music and lighting, where a tent would go and how many toilets there are, and ask about a music curfew, since some villas have neighbours.
