For the 18 makeup artists we list, the bride's makeup typically starts between 300 and 550 euros. The price moves with the trial, hair styling if you want it from the same person, and whether the artist stays for touch-ups or an evening look. Makeup for mothers and bridesmaids is usually priced per person, and travel to a venue outside the city is often extra. Some artists start lower than that, and a few much higher. Each artist's own starting price is on their profile.
A bridal price usually covers your makeup on the wedding day and the products used. Check whether the artist comes to where you are getting ready, whether a trial is included, and whether lashes are part of it. Hair is a separate skill, so ask if the artist does both or works with a hairstylist, and how that is priced. Touch-ups during the day, an evening look and makeup for the other days of a multi-day wedding are common extras.
Look at real brides photographed in daylight, ideally with skin like yours, rather than heavily retouched editorial shots. Book a trial. If you are planning from abroad, fit it into a trip before the wedding, so the morning itself holds no surprises. In summer, which is very hot here, ask how the artist makes makeup last through the heat and the dancing. For a big bridal party, check whether the artist brings a team, so the morning runs on time and nobody is late for the ceremony.
Ask these before you book the trial. Is the trial included, and can we do it during a trip before the wedding? Do you do hair as well, or who do you work with for it? How many people can you get ready on the morning, and how long does each one take? Will you stay for touch-ups, and how is that charged? Which products do you use so the makeup lasts in the heat? Is travel to our venue included in the price?
